Surgeons at the edge of life for BBC Two [3min]

While working as PD on 2 series of this premium brand at Dragonfly TV, I researched, shot and produced this specialist factual VT. For this short piece the audience needed to feel amazed by the expertise of the scientists who work there.

However, we also needed an emotional pull to drive engagement, so when we discovered the wonderful Elena we had to find a deft way to include her family story - while also showing her at best at work.
